One of my series of Daily Camels called "Ron". My husband asked me to paint him as a camel. Here he is! Of course that started a 'thing'. I now have many family members who are portrayed as camels. Would you like one?

I had a wonderful week in Myrtle Beach #SpringmaidPaintingWithFriends! I tried a few new techniques, painted every day surrounded with so many wonderful artists. It is so great to be home, but have I continued my daily painting habit? No. There are so many other wonderful things in my life that also grab my attention! I have so many blessings to be Thankful for! But it is time to paint again!

This started as a watercolor of some trees. After some stencil fun, negative painting and bits of color, it is so much more than trees! I am still working on it and I know a title will reveal itself. But I always love hearing your ideas,

Here is another intuitive abstract. So fun to create! I don't know if it is finished. I did sign it, so maybe it is!? What do you think?

This is one of my favorite fish! I have an unfinished ceramic fish that I found in a thrift shop long ago. I draw it often. It has been the subject of many paintings. Here are 2 new ones in progress. The pink one is a watercolor monoprint that I did while practicing for my workshop this Saturday at Green Spring Gardens. For the other, I used the Andy Warhol ink blot transfer method on toned paper.

Some of my favorite works right now. I began these watercolor flowers with only watercolor. But somehow my favorite black ink pen crept into my hand and now I am inking them! I love them even more now.

I don't always feel like my creativity is going somewhere, but little by little, my paintings reveal themselves. One of the best parts of artistic life for me has been learning to trust the process.
